No matter how much information you put out there, some questions will always remain. We are looking forward to helping you out. How old does my child have to be to go to Discovery Camp?


Kindergarten through 6th grade. Campers must be potty trained.




What time does Discovery Camp begin?


Camp begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:00pm. Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:45am and picked up as late as 3:15pm.




My children are a few years a part, can they be in the same group?


Yes, however our campers are divided into groups by grade level. Curricula and activities are designed for these different groups which are developmentally distinct from each other.




What is the registration deadline?


All camp registrations remain open until camp is full. Even if the camp has already begun.




How many campers are in each group?


Enrollment is limited to small classes of 12 students per teacher with volunteers.




Who are the Camp Teachers?


All of the camp teachers are AHLF employees in our Academy for Environmental Stewardshio who teach here throughout the school year.




What will the kids be doing?


Each camp involves learning about nature in nature with hands on activities, take home recycled crafts, nature hikes and animal interactions. The specific cirriculum and lessons will be unique to the camp theme. Each week has a different theme and different activities. Feel free to sign up for more than one session!




Does Discovery Camp provide snack or lunch?


No, each camper is responsible for bringing their own snack nd lunch. Discovery Camp includes a snack and lunch break each day.
